A day in Segovia
It was yet another sunny and beautiful day in Madrid. I decided to go to Segovia for the day. Finding the bus station took a few years off of my life. It ended up being in a hole, of a niche, of a crevice. One thing is for sure, I will never forget how to say ¨where is the bus station?¨in Spanish.
Segovia is a small town about an hour north of Madrid, and it was noticeably colder. My poor little fingers nearly fell off. While there, I visited the Aqueduct that was used until the late 19th century, the Cathedral that is known to be the Last Gothic One, and the royal castle of Segovia, the Alcazar. The view from the tower of Alcazar was breathtaking. (So was the 152 step of narrow, stone, spiral staircase that I had to take to get to the top, literally).
The day trip was fab!
